Varieties suitable for Transplanted Rice Cultivation.
1. Early (100-115 days): Anjali, Birsa Vikash Dhan 110 and Sahbhagi.
2. Medium (120-135days): Abhishek, Naveen, Lalat, IR 36 and IR 64.
3. Late (140 days): Swarna (MTU 7029), Rajshri, Sambha Mahsoori (BPT 5204) and Birsamati.
1 June - 20 June: for late duration varieties (Swarna, Rajshri, Sambha Mahsoori and Birsamati).
13 June - 30 June: for medium and early duration varieties (Anjali, Birsa Vikash Dhan 110, Sahbhagi, Abhishek, Naveen, Lalat, IR 36 and IR 64).
1 July - 14 July: Birsa Dhan 108 Seed Rate: 50 kg/ha (Bold grain), 40 kg/ha (Medium or small grain and aromatic rice).
Nursery Sowing: by broadcasting of germinated seed (50 gm / m2), or dry seed in line in moistened land. 1,000 m2 area is used for nursery for one hectare land.
Nursery management: In 10 - 12 days nursery plant, apply Carbofuran 3G @ 250 gm, or Forate 10G @100 gm per 100 m2 nursery area.Its also control Nematodes effectively.
Transplanting: 15 – 20 days of plant (Irrigated) and 25 – 30 days plant (Un-irrigated). Mannure: 5 tons FYM / Compost or 5 q/ha Neem Cake before 15 days before sowing.
Fertilizer: 120:60:40 kg NPK / ha (dwarf varieties) 120:60:40 kg NPK / ha (Rajshri) 120:60:40 kg NPK / ha (Anjali and Birsa Vikash Dhan 110) Full dose of Phosphorus and Potash and ¼ dose of Nitrogen at the time of transplanting. Half dose of N, if nursery plant is more days.
Topdressing (Urea) : Three times, after 3,6 and 9 weeks. in Late duration variety. Two times, after 3 and 6 weeks in Medium duration variety.
Yield: 40 q/ha (Rainfed) 70 q/ha (Irrigated)
