1. Rice milk is produced from both brown and milled rice grains.

2. The sweetness in most rice milk varieties is generated by a natural enzymatic process, cleaving the carbohydrates into sugars, especially glucose.

3. Some rice milk kinds may nevertheless be sweetened with sugarcane syrup or other sugars. It is not a substitute for cow’s milk, but a lactose free, low fat milk type product.
